Police seek next-of-kin of unidentified man found in KLIA2 aircraft wheel bay

KLIA district police are asking the public and relatives of anyone missing since 19 August 2026 to come forward to help identify a man's body found in an aircraft wheel storage bay at Terminal 2 of KLIA (KLIA2). The body, found on the morning of 27 August after the plane landed from Tokyo, had no identification documents and the case is being investigated as a sudden death.
