NCER targets RM470 billion in investments by 2030
The Northern Corridor Economic Region is targeting RM470 billion in cumulative investments by 2030 under its newly launched Strategic Development Plan 2026-2030. The plan covers Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak and aims to lift regional GDP to RM369 billion and create 310,000 jobs. Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the blueprint translates the 13th Malaysia Plan into a regional growth strategy.
