Air quality across 38 areas in Malaysia fell into the unhealthy range on Tuesday morning, with Serian in Sarawak recording the highest API reading of 188. Johor had the most affected areas, while the Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan and Penang also saw elevated readings. Singapore's five regions also entered unhealthy air quality for the first time since 2019.
