Taiping Hospital emergency department short of doctors, says medical officer

A medical officer at Taiping Hospital's emergency department says the unit is critically short of manpower, with one doctor treating nearly 50 patients in the Green Zone. Waiting times have risen sharply and referrals from 13 health clinics across Larut, Matang and Selama are adding to the strain.
