Indonesia's ICOMEX commodity bourse to start tin, ferronickel trading on Jan 4, 2027
Indonesia will begin trading on its new commodity exchange, ICOMEX, on Jan 4, 2027, with tin and ferronickel among the opening transactions, the exchange's chief supervisor said at a parliamentary hearing in Jakarta. State miners are expected to be among the first participants. Regulator OJK expects to issue the rules on Sept 17 and the licence on Jan 1.
