Police open to aiding MOH mercy flights, IGP cites limited air assets
Police are willing to help the Health Ministry run mercy flights for patients in remote areas, but the air operations force has only two fixed-wing aircraft and one helicopter in Sarawak. IGP Mohd Khalid Ismail said this in Kuala Lumpur, adding that 20 witnesses have been recorded over the Sept 8 Flying Doctor Service helicopter crash in Miri, Sarawak.
