Smoke from faulty brake forces evacuation of train at Bukit Gombak MRT station

Passengers were evacuated from a train at Bukit Gombak MRT station on Sept 15 after smoke was seen coming from below the train. SMRT said preliminary checks suggest a faulty brake caused the smoke, and the train was withdrawn to the depot. No commuters needed medical assistance and services continued normally.
