Ringgit closes lower at 4.0835/0880 against US dollar
The ringgit closed lower against the US dollar on Tuesday at 4.0835/0880, down from 4.0735/0770 at Monday's close. The decline came as investors stayed cautious ahead of the US FOMC meeting, with the probability of a US rate hike reported at 92.3 percent. The ringgit also weakened against the euro, yen, pound and ASEAN currencies.
