Springleaf Prata Place offers senior staff profit share at new outlets
Singapore restaurant chain Springleaf Prata Place, which runs 12 outlets, gives staff with five or more years of service a chance to become junior partners at new branches. They keep their basic pay and receive 10 per cent of the new outlet's profit in the first year, 20 per cent in the second and 30 per cent from the third, with no equity in the company. Owner S.V. Gunalan said the scheme lets him take weekends off and keeps experienced workers from leaving.
