MetMalaysia weighs another cloud seeding as haze worsens and dam levels drop
MetMalaysia is in talks with NADMA to carry out cloud seeding operations to tackle worsening haze and raise water levels at dams. Its deputy director-general (operations), Ambun Dindang, said the operation depends on suitable cloud availability, and stressed the haze comes from forest fires in neighbouring countries, not the volcanic eruption in Java.
