Anwar signs two MoUs with Maldives during two-day visit

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim made a two-day official visit to the Maldives and signed two memorandums of understanding on defence cooperation and Islamic affairs. The two countries also agreed to explore a Preferential Trade Agreement and Malaysia supported the Maldives' application for a US$100 million financing facility.
