JPJ postpones enforcement of retrofit SLD installation, new date to be announced

JPJ has postponed the third-phase enforcement of retrofitting Speed Limitation Devices (SLDs) for vehicles without the device, originally set for July 1, 2026. The new date will be announced later, giving commercial vehicle owners more time to prepare. Seven JPJ-approved installation workshops have been appointed, six in Kota Bharu and one in Tanah Merah.
