AI coding startup Factory raises $200m, valuation triples to $5 billion
Factory, a startup making AI agents for enterprise engineering teams, said on Sept 15 it raised $200 million in a funding round that lifted its valuation to $5 billion from $1.5 billion in April. The round was backed by Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital and Insight Partners, among others. The San Francisco company competes with AI coding platforms such as Cognition and Cursor.
