Perak vet dept seizes 15 live cattle in Simpang Pulai smuggling bust

Perak's Veterinary Services Department seized 15 live cattle worth RM37,500 in a raid at Kampung Pawong, Simpang Pulai, last night. The lorry, driven by a 23-year-old man, was travelling from Kelantan to Selangor without a valid livestock transfer permit. The case is being investigated under Section 36(1) of the Animals Act 1953.
