Anwar appeals for more time on reforms, warns of resistance
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has asked Malaysians to give his administration more time to carry out reforms, saying he has done his best but that speeding up change would provoke resistance from entrenched interests. Speaking on the podcast SembangOhhYeahh, he said prime ministers come and go but the country must be saved, and pointed to young Malaysians' enthusiasm during National Day celebrations as a sign of hope.
