500 PPR homes at Taman Yu Legenda in Sungai Yu left vacant over three years

About 500 units of the People's Housing Project (PPR) at Taman Yu Legenda in Sungai Yu, Kuala Selangor, have been left empty for over three years despite being ready for occupancy and handed over by the developer. Former Tanjong Karang MP Tan Sri Noh Omar expressed regret that the developer's warranty period has expired and the government may have to bear repair costs. The Sungai Yu village head fears the vacant homes could become an illegal settlement for foreigners.
