Decorated boats light up Malaysia Day in Trong, fishermen of all races join

A decorated boat competition for Malaysia Day 2026 was held at the LKIM jetty in Sungai Kerang, Trong, Perak, with fishermen of various races taking part including seven Chinese boats. The Bukit Gantang MP said the fifth edition recognises fishermen's contributions and fosters patriotism, with total prizes of up to RM8,000.
