Police widen probe into Long Lellang helicopter crash, refuelling point under scrutiny
Police are expanding their investigation into the helicopter crash near Long Lellang STOLport in Baram, Sarawak, focusing on the refuelling location and the aircraft's route. Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said 19 witnesses have been recorded so far, with more to be called, while the technical probe has been handed to the Air Accident Investigation Bureau. All five victims, including the pilot and four medical personnel, have been claimed by their families.
