Rembau chief says Negeri Sembilan exco's ruler-deposition notice is void
The Rembau undang, Datuk Hassan Abdul Hamid, issued a statement in Seremban rejecting the Negeri Sembilan state executive council's notice deposing Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz, saying it breaches Article 10 of the state constitution. He said the state's Adat Council rulings of July 31 and September 13 remain in force and that Tuanku Muhriz is still the ruler.
