Negeri Sembilan MB orders gazetting of Tuanku Muhriz's removal despite DKU objection

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has instructed the state secretary to proceed with gazetting the removal of Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir as Yang di-Pertuan Besar, after an event in Seremban. The move defies the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang, which insists the state executive council has no jurisdiction over the ruler's position and that the matter is before the High Court in Seremban. Lawyers for Tuanku Muhriz accuse the state government of a coup and plan contempt proceedings over an alleged breach of interim injunctions.
