Police confirm teen, 14, crashed into two cars in Taman Chai Leng, Perai
A 14-year-old boy driving a car crashed into two vehicles at two separate locations in Taman Chai Leng, Perai, on Monday afternoon. Police said the teenager first hit a parked car on Lorong Kurau 23 before driving the wrong way down a one-way road at Lebuh Kurau 5 and hitting another car. No injuries were reported and the case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.

JAS pantau kebakaran tanah gambut dan tapak pelupusan di Sarawak, Johor
Jabatan Alam Sekitar memberi perhatian khusus kepada kebakaran tanah gambut dan tapak pelupusan sampah di Sarawak dan Johor susulan cuaca panas dan kering. Di Sarikei, kebakaran tapak pelupusan Selalang membabitkan 1.5 hektar dengan 67 peratus dipadamkan, manakala di Kota Tinggi kebakaran tanah gambut membabitkan 17 hektar dan 10.12 hektar. JAS memantau kualiti udara dan mengingatkan orang ramai supaya tidak melakukan pembakaran terbuka.
