26 litterers, 14 of them foreigners, ordered to clean Johor public spaces
Twenty-six people convicted of littering, 25 of them for cigarette butts, were ordered to perform community service at five locations across Johor. SWCorp said 3,095 littering notices have been issued in the state since Aug 1, with 107 cases concluded in court and RM71,550 in fines.

Sistem Gantri Berbayar Di Larkin Untuk Atasi Kekurangan Parkir
Johor Bahru has installed a new paid parking gantry system using number plate recognition at Jalan Geroda near the Larkin bus terminal to free up spaces long occupied by residents working in Singapore. The system, which started on Aug 21, has been welcomed by locals and businesses, and similar gantries are planned for Dataran Larkin and Larkin Perdana as part of efforts to ease traffic ahead of the RTS Link launch in 2027.
