    History activists have located the grave of Kedah war commander Tunku Muhamad Saad, known as Tunku Mat Saad, who died in 1847, at the Muslim cemetery of Masjid Jamek Hashim Yahaya in Jalan Perak, Penang. He led Kedah's attack on Siamese forces at Kota Kuala Kedah in 1838 and was later exiled to India before settling in Kota Perai and Penang.
