JPJ Kapit detained a timber lorry at Jalan Kapit-Mujong for carrying dangerous loads and worn tyres. In the same operation, a vehicle driven by a foreigner without a valid licence was also detained.

RM250,000 RTP allocation for new Nanga Selidi longhouse site in Kapit
A RM250,000 Rural Transformation Project allocation has been channelled to Nanga Selidi Longhouse in Kapit, Sarawak, to prepare a site for a new 23-door longhouse. Baleh assemblyman Nicholas Kudi Jantai said the project aims to give the community better basic amenities and a more comfortable living environment, with site levelling to follow Public Works Department specifications.

Two timber lorries were detained during Ops Gempur Kenderaan Perdagangan by the JPJ Kapit operations unit along Jalan Kapit–Mujong, Sarawak. Inspections found offences including dangerous loading and worn tyre treads. The operation followed public complaints about timber lorry activity in the area.

JPJ Kapit checks 115 vehicles in cross-agency operation
JPJ Kapit branch inspected 115 vehicles in an Ops Rentas Agensi operation with JSPT, Immigration, AADK and Forestry officers. Offences included driving without a licence, dangerous loading and missing vocational licences, with two cases referred for further action.
