Furniture warehouse in Port Klang catches fire, 70% damaged
A two-storey furniture storage warehouse on Jalan Perusahaan 22, Kampung Idaman, Port Klang, caught fire this afternoon. About 70 per cent of the building was affected and a Perodua Viva was 20 per cent damaged, but no casualties were reported. The fire was brought under control at 5.31pm and the cause is under investigation.

Body of missing fisherman identified by wife after boat capsizing
The body of Muhammad Shahril Abdul Rahman, one of the fishermen missing after a boat capsized, was found this morning in the waters off Hutan Melintang, Perak. His wife identified him by his shirt and ear shape at the Kampung Semenja jetty camp in Kapar. The body was sent to Shah Alam Hospital for a post-mortem.

Police arrest man with 27 criminal records over wife's assault in Cheras

Mother who manages funerals has to handle her own son's after Klang crash

KBS: All ministries ready for Bahrain GP at Sepang

Sepang to host Bahrain Grand Prix in October
Sepang International Circuit will stage the Bahrain Grand Prix from 2 to 4 October, the first time a Formula 1 race carrying another country's name is held in Malaysia. Harian Metro lists historical precedents such as the San Marino GP at Imola, the Swiss GP at Dijon and the Luxembourg GP at the Nurburgring, and says Sepang was chosen as the alternative venue after the Bahrain GP was cancelled earlier this season over geopolitical tensions in West Asia.

MAIS targets all Selangor mosques to adopt AI and digitalisation
The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) aims for all mosques in the state to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalisation in their management, up from about 30 per cent currently. MAIS secretary Mohd Sabirin Mohd Sarbini said digital financial systems and management courses will be expanded by district, with AI also used in MAIS's daily operations. He spoke at the 12th International Conference on Mosque, Zakat and Waqf Management (IMAF) in Bangi.

Body of missing fisherman found off Bagan Datuk, two still missing
One of three fishermen missing after setting out from Jeti Sementa, Kapar, last Sunday is believed dead after a body was found in waters off Bagan Datuk, Perak. The search and rescue operation on its third day has been expanded to the Selangor-Perak border and waters near Indonesia for the two remaining men.
