Penang tops Malaysia with RM17.3bil manufacturing investments in first half
Penang led Malaysia in approved manufacturing investments in the first half of 2026, securing RM17.3 billion, a 38 per cent increase year-on-year. The state accounted for 34 per cent of the country's total, with foreign direct investment contributing RM12.8 billion.
