Najib and son win appeal to postpone bankruptcy proceedings over tax arrears
The Court of Appeal has allowed Najib Razak and his son Mohd Nazifuddin's appeal to postpone bankruptcy proceedings over tax arrears of RM1.69 billion and RM37.6 million. The three-judge panel ruled that the issues raised before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax were serious enough to warrant the postponement.

Lawyers for former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin are challenging a businessman's testimony about a 2020 meeting to discuss the Jana Wibawa program. The lawyer suggested the witness's account of being shown a list of approved projects was fabricated, as the term 'Jana Wibawa' was only proposed later. The businessman maintained his account of a private meeting with Muhyiddin at a golf club.

Appeals court orders full trial in Zavarco's RM451mil fraud suit against bank
The Court of Appeal in Putrajaya has reinstated a lawsuit by Zavarco Bhd seeking to set aside a RM451.3 million judgment. The court ruled that allegations of deliberate concealment against Bank Pembangunan Malaysia must be tested in a full trial before a different High Court judge.
