San Marino GP penalty a lesson for Hakim Danish
Malaysian Moto3 rider Hakim Danish Ramli was handed a penalty dropping him to 25th on the grid at the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano after being judged to have ridden too slowly in Qualifying 1. Team manager Zulfahmi Khairudin said the penalty stemmed from an attempt to gain a slipstream advantage, and hopes the mistake will not recur given the rider's potential.

MSN books extra hotel rooms in Nagoya for Asian Games athletes
Malaysia's National Sports Council booked extra hotel rooms in Nagoya for five karate athletes and 11 rooms for the archery squad after accommodation shortages ahead of the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. MSN is also supplying raincoats, ready-to-eat meals and safety and transport contingency plans after heavy rain and transport delays at the venues.

MAHF expects RM133,000 debt to MOM cleared within two years
The Malaysian Handball Federation (MAHF) expects to settle its outstanding debt from previous management within two years through monthly instalments of RM3,000. Its president Datuk Pandak Ahmad said the arrangement was agreed with Olympic Council of Malaysia president Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria after MAHF was readmitted as a member last October. The national men's and women's teams will play at the IHF championship in Chonburi, Thailand in October.

Terengganu FC face injury concerns ahead of FA Cup quarter-final quest
Terengganu FC's preparations for tomorrow night's FA Cup round-of-16 second leg against DPMM FC have been disrupted by injuries to four key players. Porter from Ranau finishes UTMB ultra-trail in Chamonix
Daved Simpat, a 44-year-old Mount Kinabalu porter from Kampung Himbaan in Ranau, Sabah, completed the 174km Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, France, in 28 hours 53 minutes and four seconds. Gallifuoco still waiting for Harimau Malaya naturalisation status
Giancarlo Gallifuoco, an Australia-born KL City defender, is still awaiting news on his naturalisation process to represent Harimau Malaya.
