    The RM9.89 million full replacement project for Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Selanyau in Subis, categorised as a sick project, is being given serious attention. Sarawak Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn made a working visit to the school recently and stressed that all parties must fulfil their roles and complete the works within the stipulated timeframe. The project, handed over in May 2021 and originally due in July 2022, covers classrooms, an administration building, laboratories and teachers' quarters.

  2. Car loses control on Miri-Bintulu coastal road, 22-year-old driver dies

    A 22-year-old local man died after the car he was driving lost control and collided with a four-wheel-drive vehicle on Jalan Coastal Miri-Bintulu in Bekenu at about 8pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Miri Hospital paramedics, while the other driver suffered minor injuries. Police are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
