Haze conditions worsened across East Malaysia on Aug 31, with four areas in Sarawak recording hazardous Air Pollutant Index (API) readings. Serian recorded the highest reading at 445, followed by Kuching at 366, while four areas in Sabah registered unhealthy levels.
