The Health Ministry is monitoring a rise in acute respiratory tract infections and conjunctivitis in Sarawak, linked to ongoing haze. Deputy Health Minister Hanifah Hajar Taib said URTI cases have increased to about 1,752 per week, while conjunctivitis cases rose to about 21 per week. She urged at-risk groups to take precautions during unhealthy air quality.
