Sarawak councillor urges federal review of diesel subsidy quota
A Kuching city councillor, Eric Tay Tze Kok, has called on the federal government to review its fuel subsidy mechanism for Sarawak, citing the state's large geographical area and significant petroleum revenue contribution. He argued that the recent increase in the BUDI Diesel subsidy allocation to 400 litres is not a final solution and that Sarawak's unique needs should be considered.
