Askuzaimey gifts gold for Merdeka Day

Malaysian boccia athlete Noor Askuzaimey Mat Salim won the gold medal at the 2026 World Boccia Championships in Seoul, South Korea, defeating Hong Kong's Yuen Cheung 5-3 in the women's individual BC4 final. The victory, which came on Malaysia's 69th National Day and her wedding anniversary, was dedicated to all Malaysians.
