Dietitian warns food aid alone may not prevent return of child malnutrition in KL
A clinical dietitian has cautioned that six months of food assistance for malnourished children may not lead to lasting improvement once the aid stops. Rozanna M Rosly of UM Specialist Centre said the real test begins in 'month seven' and called for continued monitoring and support. The warning follows Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad's revelation that 23.4% of children in Kuala Lumpur are stunted.
