Kenanga IB sees ringgit strengthening to RM3.95 by end-2026
Kenanga Investment Bank forecasts the ringgit will strengthen to RM3.95 against the US dollar by the end of 2026. The investment bank maintains its expectation that the US Fed will hold interest rates in September, with a potential cut only in the second quarter of 2027. For Malaysia, BNM is expected to keep the OPR at 2.75 percent throughout 2026.
