Sarawak Agencies Coordinate Water Aid for Drought-Hit Areas
The Sarawak Social Welfare Department (JKM) and the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) are coordinating water aid for areas affected by drought in Sarawak. State minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah said JKM distributes bottled drinking water while JBALB delivers water to tanks. The coordination is crucial to ensure residents, especially those relying on rainwater or gravity-fed systems, do not face water supply disruptions.
