Education Ministry to scrap low-impact competitions to cut teachers' workload
The Education Ministry will discontinue several competitions and programmes deemed to have little direct impact on student learning, such as best-decorated toilet and cleanest classroom contests. Minister Fadhlina Sidek announced the move as part of seven initial steps to reduce teachers' administrative burden, with further measures to be announced gradually.
