Fomca advises Malaysians to limit outdoor activities as haze persists
The Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (Fomca) has advised Malaysians to limit outdoor activities and strenuous exercise when air quality reaches unhealthy levels due to the ongoing haze. Fomca CEO Dr T. Saravanan called on schools, employers, and outdoor event organisers to follow official advisories and protect vulnerable groups. The haze has affected many parts of the country since early August, particularly Sarawak, due to transboundary smoke from Indonesian forest fires.
