Ringgit slips to 4.0435 against US dollar, gains on pound and euro
The Malaysian ringgit weakened against the US dollar on Wednesday, closing at 4.0435/0475, but strengthened against the British pound and euro. A Bank Muamalat economist attributed the movement to rising global bond yields and concerns over government debt levels in developed economies.
