Ministry needs RM4 billion yearly for rural road projects
The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) estimates it needs around RM4 billion annually to ensure the continuity of ongoing and approved Rural Road (JALB) projects. For 2026, JALB projects received RM2.107 billion, with 415 projects implemented as of September 1. KKDW also appreciated the RM300 million approval from the Ministry of Finance.
