Indonesia-Malaysia joint border operation seizes 3 million illegal cigarettes, drugs
A month-long joint operation between Indonesian and Malaysian Customs along their shared land and maritime borders foiled 30 smuggling cases. Seizures included over three million illegal cigarettes, nearly 100 tonnes of rattan, and various drugs. The operation, which ran from July 13 to Aug 14, was part of an annual cooperation that has expanded its scope over the years.
