Sarawak teachers union seeks one-month salary aid in 2027 Budget
Borneo Post
The Sarawak Teachers Union has asked the federal government to include financial assistance of one month's salary or at least RM2,000 for civil servants, especially educators, in the 2027 Budget. Union president Kullin Djayang made the request in a statement, linking it to the recent restoration of the Budi Madani fuel subsidy quota. He also urged teachers to maintain professionalism on social media and avoid opposing government policies.
