China says it surveyed seabed east of Taiwan in August
China's Ministry of Natural Resources says it conducted a survey of waters east of Taiwan from Aug 10-31 to map the seabed. Taiwan's coast guard says it shadowed a Chinese research ship in the area on Aug 21 and condemned the activity as harassment.
