Sarawak deputy minister urges JKM to speed up clean water aid for Nanga Merit residents

Sarawak Deputy Minister Datuk Liwan Lagang has called on the Welfare Department (JKM) to immediately supply clean drinking water to residents of Nanga Merit along the Rejang River, who are facing a serious shortage due to a prolonged dry spell. He made the call during a Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocation presentation at Rumah Anthony Jiram on Friday, where 38 village committees received RM141,000.
