Kota Kinabalu and Kimanis in Sabah recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index readings of 157 and 151 as of 5pm Sunday. The Sabah Department of Environment attributes the haze to transboundary fires in Kalimantan, while patrols found no major local fires.
