Sabah DOE records unhealthy API levels in four stations

Sabah's air quality deteriorated to unhealthy levels on Thursday due to transboundary haze from forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Four Department of Environment monitoring stations recorded unhealthy API readings, with Kota Kinabalu at 156, while the state director reminded the public that open burning is illegal.
