Two workers rescued after 9 days trapped in Nepal flood tunnel
Two hydroelectric plant workers in Nepal, Kabir Maharjan and Sanjay Sah, were rescued in a weak condition after being trapped for nine days in a tunnel filled with muddy water. They were trapped after a glacier collapse in the Trishuli Valley on August 26, triggering floods that killed over 1,300 people. Rescue operations are ongoing to find 121 other workers believed to still be trapped.
