Kulim student who cared for late mother starts USM degree with full support
Muhammad Adam Iskandar Azharunaim, 20, from Kulim, is beginning his Bachelor of Education (History) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) after postponing his studies to care for his mother, who died of brain cancer in August. Despite his responsibilities, he achieved a 4.00 CGPA in STPM. USM's vice-chancellor has pledged full tuition and hostel fee support under the Siswa Sulung programme.
