Unions demand FDS suspension after fatal Sarawak crash; MOH vows to continue service
Hartal Doktor Kontrak and the Malayan Nurses Union demanded a temporary suspension of the Flying Doctor Service and comprehensive safety checks on its aircraft following a fatal helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Baram, Sarawak. The crash killed all five people on board. Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad announced the ministry would continue the service despite the unions' concerns.
