CILT: Sabah must build cargo-generating industries, not chase ships
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sabah says the state government should build industries that create cargo demand before chasing vessel calls. Its deputy chairman Mohd Faizal Malik proposed a statewide cargo development strategy, citing POIC Lahad Datu as an example of an integrated industrial and port ecosystem.
